Notarial fees are charged in accordance with California Government Code section 8211. Travel, printing, and convenience fees are separate from notarial fees and are earned once travel has commenced.
Travel fees are due even if documents cannot be notarized due to incomplete documents, missing or unacceptable identification, signer refusal, or other legal limitations.
If documents are corrected and notarization is completed within 30 days of the original appointment, up to 50% of the previously charged travel fee may be credited toward the subsequent appointment.
I am a notary public, not an attorney, and cannot provide legal advice, select documents, or advise on how to complete forms.
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. By scheduling an appointment or accepting an invoice or estimate, the client acknowledges and agrees to these fees and terms.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment will not incur a travel fee. Same-day cancellations are responsible for the agreed travel fee.
If the notary must cancel an appointment on the same day, no travel fee will be charged and up to 50% of the travel fee will be credited toward a rescheduled appointment within 30 days.
Online payments can be made using the payment link included with your invoice.
